One pool for the gift.
Everyone in it can see it.

Tadapool isn't a bill splitter. It's the simple, transparent way friends, colleagues and family chip in for a birthday, a wedding or a farewell — and decide together what to buy. Every pool is invite‑only.

HOW IT WORKS

Three steps, then it runs itself

1Start the pool

Name the occasion, pick a date and a currency, set a target if you want one — or leave it an open pool. Choose how people can pay you: Bizum, Wise, bank transfer, cash.

2Invite your people

Pick friends from your list. They say yes or no, so you know who's actually in before you count on the money. Nobody outside the pool can see it.

3Chip in and choose

Everyone contributes what they like and leaves a note. Suggest gift ideas, vote on them, and watch the pool fill — the same numbers visible to everyone.

WHAT'S INSIDE

Built for the awkward bits

Chasing people, remembering who paid, arguing over the present. Tadapool handles all three.

Invite, then know

Being added isn't the same as agreeing. People say "count me in" — and only you, the organiser, see who hasn't replied yet.

One number, same for all

Every contribution is listed with who, when, how and a note. No private spreadsheet, no "did you get mine?" messages.

Decide the gift together

Suggest ideas with a price and a description, vote, and let the top choice win. The group picks the present, not the loudest person in the chat.

Pay however you already pay

Bizum, Wise, bank transfer or cash. You publish the instructions once; contributors see exactly where to send it.

Balances between friends

Money moves outside the app too. Record what you hold and what they hold — kept as two separate figures per currency, never netted into one confusing total.

Nudges, not nagging

People get notified when they're invited, when someone chips in and when the gift is chosen. You send one reminder instead of ten messages.

Join with a link

Drop the link in the group chat. Whoever opens it joins as invited — they still say yes or no, you still see the whole list, and the pool stays yours to close.

Hide the amount

Give what you can without it being a scoreboard. Others see that you chipped in; only the organiser — who has to reconcile the money — sees how much.

Every request, on the record

Sent, accepted, rejected, spent — each transfer keeps its amount, method and date, waiting on whoever owes the answer. Nobody has to remember.

EVERY SCREEN

One app, whatever you're holding

Tadapool was drawn for a phone, then rebuilt so it fits the screen you actually opened it on. Nothing is stretched — the layout changes.

The bottom bar becomes a side rail
On a tablet the navigation moves to the left edge and labels itself, so the pool stays on screen while you move around the app.
Pools land in a grid
One column on a phone, two on a tablet held upright, three across a landscape tablet. The count comes from the width, so a card is never stretched to fill a row.
The pool detail splits in two
Money on the left, people on the right. Chip in, confirm a hand-off somebody logged, and watch the roster change — without hopping between tabs.

iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets — and the Fold's inner screen. Every orientation.

FRIENDS & HELD MONEY

Somebody is always holding somebody's cash

Marco Bianchi hands you €75 across a couple of hand-offs for a gift that hasn't been bought yet. That money is real, it is his, and until now it lived in your head. He logs it, you accept it, and it becomes a balance between the two of you — until you accept, it sits as pending in and counts for nothing. Then, when the pool comes, you put some or all of it in under his name: spend €28 and the remaining €47 stays free. What you spent is earmarked for that pool until it completes, the pool goes up by the same, and nobody counts it twice.

Two sides, never netted into one confusing number — what you hold and what they hold stay separate.
Nothing lands on a balance until the other person accepts it. Every hand-off is a request they confirm or reject — a balance is never a claim one of you made alone.
Spend it into a pool on their behalf, in part or in full — recorded as their contribution, not yours.

YOUR MONEY

Tadapool never touches the money

There is no wallet, no card on file and no payment processing. People pay the organiser directly, the way they already do — Tadapool keeps the record so everyone can see the same thing.

That's why it's free, why there are no fees, and why nothing is held up in transfer.

Invite-only, always
Every pool is private. Only the people you invite can see the amount, the members or the gift.
A record, not a transaction
Saying "count me in" charges nothing. You choose the amount and pay when you're ready.
History that can't be quietly edited
Contributions carry who recorded them and who accepted them. Anything entered by hand is labelled as such.

Try it on the next birthday

Tadapool is on iPhone, iPad, Android phones and tablets. Free, no card, and we read every piece of feedback.
