Cookie policy
Tadapool measures how this page is used in two ways. One stores nothing on your device and needs no permission. The other stores cookies, so we ask first — and none of it runs until you say yes.
Strictly necessary
These make the site work and are set whether or not you accept anything else. They hold no analytics and are not used to profile you.
| Cookie | What it does | Kept for | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| tp_consent | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics cookies. | 180 days | Tadapool |
| NEXT_LOCALE | Remembers the language you chose. | 1 year | Tadapool |
Measurement that sets no cookies
Every visit is counted by Vercel Web Analytics: page views, referrer, country, browser and device type, in aggregate. It sets no cookies and stores nothing on your device — visitors are told apart by a hash of the incoming request, which is discarded after 24 hours. Because nothing is kept on your device and nothing identifies you, this needs no consent.
Analytics that need your consent
If you accept, we load Microsoft Clarity. It shows us where people stop scrolling, which buttons they reach for, and where the page confuses them.
Clarity records interactions — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement — as pseudonymous session recordings and heatmaps, and masks sensitive content by default. Using it means your interaction data is sent to Microsoft, who process it as our analytics provider. We send Clarity no advertising signal: ad storage is permanently switched off.
| Cookie | What it does | Kept for | Set by |
|---|---|---|---|
| _clck | Identifies your browser to Clarity, so return visits are recognised as the same person. | See Microsoft's list | Tadapool |
| _clsk | Joins the pages you view into a single Clarity session. | See Microsoft's list | Tadapool |
| CLID | Records the first time Clarity saw this browser on any site using Clarity. | See Microsoft's list | Microsoft |
| MUID | Identifies unique browsers visiting Microsoft sites. Microsoft also uses it for advertising and site analytics. | See Microsoft's list | Microsoft |
| ANONCHK | Records whether an identifier is passed to Microsoft's advertising cookie. Clarity always sets it to 0. | See Microsoft's list | Microsoft |
| MR | Records whether Microsoft's browser identifier should be refreshed. | See Microsoft's list | Microsoft |
| SM | Synchronises Microsoft's browser identifier across Microsoft domains. | See Microsoft's list | Microsoft |
Microsoft publishes how long each Clarity cookie is kept in its own documentation, which is the authoritative list: Cookies Clarity sets
Why we are allowed to do this
The strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent under Article 5(3) of the ePrivacy Directive, because without them the site cannot do what you asked of it. Everything else runs on your consent, under Article 5(3) and Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. We treat no analytics cookie as strictly necessary.
Changing your mind
Use Cookie settings in the footer of any page. Choosing Reject all stops Clarity, deletes the cookies it set on tadapool.com, and reloads the page so nothing of it keeps running. Your choice is remembered for 180 days, after which we ask again.
The cookies Microsoft sets on its own domains cannot be removed by this site — no site can delete another site's cookies. Clear those through your browser's settings.
